BROOKYLN-BASED ACTOR/Singer/MUSICIAN

Sahar Milani is a Lebanese-Iranian-American actor, musician, and singer-songwriter whose work is shaped by a deep well of cultural heritage and creative expression. Born and raised in North Carolina, she grew up at the intersection of many different worlds. Her artistic inclinations reflect as much, with work spanning theater, television, film, and music.

Sahar studied Music Theatre at Elon University, before spending four years working at legendary record label Epic Records in both Los Angeles and New York. Her band Yeller Tooth, formed with husband Cameron Scoggins, is a folk project that explores their shared lexicon of the American South and world music. Recent Off-Broadway and TV credits include FOUAD OF NAZARETH (Noor Theatre, 2025 Jonathan Larson Grant recipient), HOUND DOG (Ars Nova/PlayCo), THE VISITOR (The Public Theater), DAREDEVIL: BORN AGAIN (Marvel/Disney+), THE ENDGAME (NBC), LET THE RIGHT ONE IN (Showtime), LAW & ORDER (NBC). Recent music performances include appearances at Sony Hall, Joe's Pub, PAC NYC, Ars Nova, and The Sultan Room. She is a founding member of the New York Arabic Chorus and the Arab American Theater Coalition.
Sahar is currently starring in Sanaz Toossi's Pulitzer Prize-winning play ENGLISH, in a co-production between TheaterWorks Hartford Oct 2nd thru Nov 8th, 2025 and the Long Wharf Theatre Jan 16th to Feb 1st, 2026. Tickets available now.
